Mid-size 60” x 60” multimedia paintings that envision a postmodern dictatorial/statist aesthetic. Tyrannical states of the 20th century developed distinct geometries and palettes with ostensibly historical relevance. What would a 21st century, uncoupled from past states, create? This post-history uncoupling is mapped in the process itself, layer upon layer of edifice, ornament, decay, and pseudo-restorative perversion/reinvention.
